First walk-through
Select a sample or open your own JPEG/PNG (maximum 20 MB). Select a light tab or numbered pin, then drag the pin. Use arrow keys on a focused pin to move it; Shift moves faster. Adjust colour, intensity, depth and diffusion. Add up to three lights.
What this POC does
Coloured radial glows simulate lighting. Depth changes glow size; it does not infer 3D geometry. Original Lighting Retention controls image opacity over black. Ambient Shadow Contrast applies uniform darkening, not generated cast shadows.
Save and load
Lighting Presets opens a manager where you can name and save current settings, browse saved presets, load or delete a selected preset, and import or export JSON files. Presets contain lights, composition settings and surround, without photograph data. Export JSON files for reliable backups. Save Image opens export controls for filename, PNG/JPEG format, JPEG quality and image size. Export keeps the full photograph proportions and excludes pins and interface. Settings and image exports are separate. Reloading loses changes unless saved.
Samples and background
Ronaigh at Kilmartin opens on startup. Other samples: Engine 40 at Ely and Ecuador Falls at Ecuador. Selecting a sample resets lighting and composition. Custom images retain the current lighting. All photographs fit without cropping. Black, White and 50% Gray affect only the viewing surround.
Offline and video
Styles, icons and supplied sample photographs are embedded. No resources are fetched during editing. This external video requires internet access:
