Photoshop depth masking utilizes the Depth Blur Neural Filter to generate a depth map, which can then be used as a mask to selectively apply adjustments or effects based on the depth of elements within an image. This allows for simulating depth of field, blurring backgrounds, and creating other depth-based effects.
