WHAT YOU HAVE
In one folder on the Windows 11 machine you will find:
LumaticBuild.exe <- the program you double-click
help.html <- the help-hub page
several *_Docs folders <- one per app (e.g. LUT_Evaluator_Docs)
TO ADD A NEW APP
- Copy the new app’s documentation folder (its name ends in _Docs)
into this same folder, next to LumaticBuild.exe. - Double-click LumaticBuild.exe
- Wait for it to say ALL DONE – BUILD PASSED.
- Open the upload_ready folder it created.
- Upload everything inside upload_ready to the website, replacing
the old files.
Done. The new app now appears in the help search.
TO UPDATE AN APP
Replace its _Docs folder with the new version, then do steps 2 to 5.
IF IT SAYS “STOPPED”
Read the “What to do” lines on screen – they name the fix in plain
English. If it tells you to contact the developer, send them these two
files from this folder:
BUILD_REPORT.txt
build_log_details.txt
IMPORTANT
- Keep LumaticBuild.exe, help.html and the _Docs folders together.
- You never edit any file by hand. Only copy folders in, and upload out.
