Ronaigh here – Just back from our first holiday, 4 hours in the car ! But, look at all these lovely stones – my humans tell me they are called a Cairn and people were buried there – hmmmm all I can see is a great pile of stones, no bones !
SB – They are the Nether Largie Mid Cairn at Kilmartin Glen, an area with one of the richest concentrations of prehistoric monuments and historical sites in Scotland. It contains over 800 monuments within a six-mile radius.
