ON1 have just released a small update to Photo RAW 2026, focused on smoothing out a few things that could get in the way of your workflow.
If you’ve noticed previews not updating in Resize AI, unexpected color shifts on certain files, or things just feeling a bit off, this update should take care of it.
Here’s what’s improved:
- Resize AI previews now update properly when zooming
- Fixed color issues with some RAF and Lightroom Mobile DNG files
- Info panel in Browse behaves as expected again
- Color labels now work correctly in search results
- Export presets are easier to toggle
- Additional stability improvements and bug fixes throughout
Overall, everything should feel smoother and cleaner. Just open the app to get the update, or download it from your account.
NB:: The Restore AI Update Is Coming in Late April – So any of your old photos that are damaged won’t have to stay damaged. Restore AI will automatically repair scratches, fading, and wear while restoring detail and color. It can even bring black-and-white images back to life with natural colorization, making it easy to recover and preserve the photos that matter most.
Restore AI runs state-of-the-art AI models in the cloud, allowing it to perform restorations that would normally require specialized high-end hardware. These models are too large to run efficiently on most desktop GPUs, but cloud processing provides the compute power and memory needed to analyze images deeply and reconstruct missing detail.
BUT Restore AI will only be available to those with Photo RAW MAX.
Restore AI is also built with privacy and trust in mind. Photos processed in the cloud with Restore AI are handled securely and are never used to train AI models or improve datasets. Your images remain yours—private, protected, and processed only for the restoration task you request.
